Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign designed to promote and increase the awareness of breast cancer. 55,000 people per year are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK. Thanks to research, more people are surviving breast cancer each year, however there are still almost 1,000 women per month that die from breast cancer in the UK.

Throughout the month of October, Holborn will be hosting events and running seminars to boost the awareness of breast cancer in Dubai. We will also be discussing how families can, using critical illness insurance, mitigate the financial implications that a diagnosis can cause.

Holborn’s Charity Work

Breast cancer is something that’s very close to our chest at Holborn and is a cause we’ve been supporting for a number of years. Back in 2014 Holborn’s very own Janet Knight did a skydive in support of Breast Cancer Arabia, check out the video of her amazing effort below. Will Janet do it again this year? Stay tuned to find out…
