About John
Born and raised in South East London, John's journey into the financial services began on the floor of the London Stock Exchange (LSE), where he honed his expertise as a stockbroker. In 2008, he embarked on a new adventure, moving to Dubai to leverage his skills as a RERA-approved Real Estate broker. That same year marked the beginning of his remarkable tenure at Holborn, starting as a Business Development Team Leader.
John's leadership qualities and strategic acumen quickly became evident, earning him a promotion to Director of Client Acquisitions. In this role, he was pivotal in expanding the Lead Generation team, showcasing his ability to drive growth and innovate. His talents did not stop there; John also spearheaded the setup and management of offices and call centres in Dubai, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and the UK, where he oversaw a diverse team of 150 individuals. Under his guidance, these teams excelled in generating leads for various sectors, including Financial Services, Citizenship by Investment, and UK Property.
Perhaps one of John's most noteworthy contributions to Holborn has been his role as the project manager for the design and build of an internal CRM system. This system has been integral in supporting more than 300 users across the Holborn Group, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency. In 2017 alone, John's initiatives were instrumental in generating over $10 million in revenue - a testament to his strategic vision and relentless drive for success.
Adapting to the ever-changing business landscape, John successfully transitioned all call centre operations to remote working during the COVID pandemic, managing a peak of over 100 homeworkers with seamless precision.
In 2022, John took his latest challenge at Holborn, moving into Sales to head a team focused on Investment Migration and UK Property, proving once again his versatility and his relentless pursuit of excellence in every endeavour.
