Holborn Assets has won seven honours at the 2024 Investment International Awards, which was beamed live across the globe.

The annual awards ceremony celebrates companies and individuals who have excelled across the UK and international financial service industry. The Investment International (II) Awards — like Holborn Assets — is now in its 25th year.

While both celebrated their silver anniversary, Holborn took home the first gold on the night, scooping the II 25th Anniversary Special Award. This one-off award recognises those who have excelled in the international financial services industry over the last 25 years.

2024 also marked the fifth consecutive year Holborn was recognised for its commitment to exceptional client service.

On a regional level, the African and Asian arms of Holborn both won awards for Excellence in Client Service, which were voted for by judges and readers. Holborn Assets was also highly commended for the Excellence in Client Service Global category.

While awards are often a team effort, certain individuals shone brightly on the night. The Personality of the Year award went to Holborn Assets COO Simon Parker.

Mr Parker has played a crucial role in expanding Holborn Assets and spearheaded the company’s digital transformation. His commitment to professional development has helped set the standard for financial advisers across the industry.

“To receive the Personality of the Year award is an incredible honour; it’s a win for the whole team,” Mr Parker said.

He continued: “We’ve worked hard, taken risks, and stayed true to our values, and it’s amazing to see that recognised. This inspires us to keep moving forward, growing, and setting the bar for service levels for our clients.”

Simon Parker, COO of Holborn Assets talks about the company.

Managing Director of Holborn Pass — Holborn’s Citizenship & Residency by Investment division — Pablo Ostrick was named Emerging Talent of the Year.

Nominees were judged on key areas, such as outstanding customer service and exceptional teamwork or leadership.

Mr Ostrick has been instrumental in establishing Holborn as one of the leading players in the global investment visa market, specifically the Portugal Golden Visa (PGV). Holborn managed over 10% of global PGV applications in 2022 while expanding into other major citizenship and residency programmes.

“I’m truly honoured to accept the Emerging Talent of the Year award! This award means a lot, and I couldn’t have achieved it without the support of my fantastic team,” Said Mr Ostrick.

Holborn Pass rounded off the night, winning the Excellence in Citizenship Services award. This award was decided by judges and a specially selected adviser panel.

Reflecting on an incredible night for Holborn, CEO Bob Parker said: “Winning seven awards is an extraordinary moment for our company, and I couldn’t be prouder of the entire team.

“It’s a testament to our commitment to excellence for our clients. It demonstrates why Holborn Assets is one of the global leading financial services companies.”
