Waruni Mapa

Waruni is an accomplished finance professional with over two decades of experience across multinational corporations and SMEs in the Middle East and Asia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (Special) from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura, Sri Lanka, and an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University, UK.

She joined Holborn in November 2021 as Head of Commissions, where she led the commissions team and implemented process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. In October 2024, she transitioned into the role of Finance Director, taking on leadership of the overall finance function.

Waruni’s areas of expertise include financial and management accounting, treasury management, budgeting and forecasting, and financial analysis. Her extensive experience and leadership contribute significantly to the company’s financial stability and long-term growth.
