This November, Holborn are participating in Movember.
Men are dying on average 5 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons.
Movember is a project which aims to address this crisis on a global scale. They fund groundbreaking projects all over the world, engaging men where they are to understand what works best and accelerate change.
By 2030, Movember aims to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%, as currently, men can expect to live on average five years less than women.
Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research, and transforming the way health services reach and support men.
Together we can make a difference in men’s health and raise awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
The annual Movember event is upon us. So, get ready to see an increase in moustaches because November is all about raising awareness of men’s health issues.

To play our part, we’ll be running informative and supportive events across our global offices as well as raising awareness daily through conversations with our clients to open up a dialogue around the subject.
You can sign up to our upcoming Men’s health-related webinars below.
In Honour of Men’s Health Awareness Month, join Holborn for a webinar with Dr Salam Al Hasani, Specialist in Urology from Mediclinic. Dr Al Hasani will be speaking about Prostate Cancer, Risk Factors and Prevention.
During the month of November we will also be running a competition over on our Instagram profile to give you the chance to bag yourselves some goodies – so give us a follow and keep your eyes peeled![instagram-feed]
No matter the shape or style of your Mo this Movember, your face can inspire donations, conversations and real change.
Commit to walking or running 60 kilometres over the month. That’s 60 kilometres for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour.
Raise funds by doing what you already get a kick out of. Get your mates together for a Mo-ment.
