Hi, I'm Leo Haughney
General Financial Planning, Insurance, Mortgages, Pensions, Investments & Estate Planning.
Professionally-qualified and ethical Financial Consultant with 35 years of experience in the Financial Industry.
Now married with 4 grown up children, Leo first met his wife when he joined AIB Bank in Ireland at the tender age of 18. He then pursued additional education goals as well as working for 35 fantastic years until taking early retirement following the Financial Crisis in 2013.
Leo then moved to Dubai in 2014 where he worked in Real Estate & Financial Planning.
Having worked as a Client Relationship Manager with AIB Bank in Ireland for many years, Leo advised and assisted both personal and business clients in managing their finances and achieving their goals.
Leo's mission is to provide personal clients with the best possible advice; to help them to structure their finances; to get the best return for their money; and to plan for the unexpected (particularly when it comes to family protection).
Finances are a personal and sensitive subject - be it saving for the first home, financing the children’s education or investing for the future and retirement. Having raised and put 4 children through 3rd level education, Leo has personal experience as well as professional training in achieving these goals.
For business clients, Leo understands the simultaneous challenges of surviving in a challenging market, growing a business and maximising the returns for the principals.
Leo offers particular experience in property investments both in Europe and the U.A.E.
More about Me
Leo is married with 4 children, 3 of whom are working in the U.K. and Australia. Being the eldest of 7 children, Leo has been earning since he was 10. He grew up and was educated in Ireland. Leo got the archetypal “job for life” with AIB Bank at 18 (or so he thought). Leo has always done his best to take his wife and kids away on family holidays – West Cork/France in the Summer and ideally Austria for skiing in Spring. Leo very much values the support of family and true friends – we all need them.
Skiing; fishing; sailing. Generally trying to keep reasonable fit, Leo is interested in sport – but more from the sideline, nowadays.
Member of the IBN (Irish Business Network) in Dubai.
